I have 3 Items i really enjoying collecting that i won't buy but will use from time to time. I really enjoy collecting Heartwood, Mundane and Decorative Wax. I love the sound the game makes when you open a barrel and find Wax lol... I know they are worth a pretty penny and when i first started playing I did sell them for gold. Now i just collect collect collect collect with enjoyment!

✭✭✭✭✭Alchemy reagents for potions I don't normally use, like the ones that drop from dragons to make heroism pots. I hold onto them in case I need to make pots for a build one day just because they are such a pain to farm.1 -

✭✭✭Crafting surveys. I used to let them stack up so I could do them later in one run. When the numbers got out of hand at some point and the surveys claimed half my bank space, I decided to roll another char with the sole purpose of holding all the surveys... for later use.
It doesn't take much thinking to spot the logical flaw in this solution. It's like storing stuff in the attic. Technically, it is still there, but practically it's gone.Edited by thorwyn on November 10, 2023 7:41AMAnd if the dam breaks open many years too soon

I like hoarding monster trophies on my characters based on creatures that are relevant to them. This is the current stack of my spirit conjuror. Two of the ectoplasm and four of the skulls are from this past Witches Festival alone because I basically spent the whole time in the Forgotten Crypt.
My daedra specialist collects clannfear and atronach trophies but only has like one of each so far.IGN @ emilypumpkin

So as I'm using eso+ I naturally "hoard" everything, which fits into my craft bag.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.1 -

Yep, exactly this. I have tons and tons and tons of ingredients I'll probably never use, but I feel compelled to harvest resources.
(Platinum is the only one I occasionally come close to running out of. I used to run out of mudcrab chitin but now I make a point of killing every mudcrab I come across.)1 -

...Spoiled food. Think it started as a "good thing to have for RP" because of the effect it has, but I haven't ever used one for it so they just collect.
Sanguine Devotional Card (white quality contraband). If I find one I grab it then launder at some point to put in my pile.
Gaming Die and Khajiit Ponder Sphere. I collect pretty much all furniture that can be stolen, but these I put in little piles in a dedicated house to it.[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!0 -

I own all of the houses you can get for gold but just go into one of them and 'dump' my stash of furnishings when I need to clean out inventory.Australian on PS4 NA server.
