That was the Khajiit that had the on and off again "rivalry" with one of our Woodworking hirelings, Margog the Hammer!
It seems that Splendid's criminal enterprise is alive and kicking still!
I do hope his daughter and Margog managed to stay away from any revenge he might have inflicted.
