Huge fan of the Nord for tanking. The resistance and ultimate building passives are great. Plus, a Nord DK is also a good combo for PVP DD.

Imperial is the most versatile out of them all imo. 6% cost reduction on everything is pretty useful to say the least.

If you want a meta tank, go Nord because it has so many good traits that you want for a tank. But my main healer is a Nord so I didn't want to make another Nord so I made mine Argonian, and to be perfectly honest, he's just as capable as he would be if he was a Nord. The extra sustain you get when using tripots is actually pretty handy in a pinch. The extra healing done kind of goes to waste though, so if you go Argonian, you're basically just doing so for the extra sustain.

The nord passive that is the most beneficial is the ulti gen, but that can be achieved more easily by using decisive weapons. And the resistances can be easily obtained in other ways, heavy armor, various armor sets, etc. (only need 32.5k resistances, any more is mostly wasted) The argonian passive that is so beneficial is the massive resource regen when drinking a potion.

But with imperial you can have the extra resources at all times instead of just the burst when you drink a potion, and with decisive weapons you can have as much or more ulti regen as nord has. So overall, imperials tend to make the best tanks. That 6% cost reduction and health and stamina racial passive at all times really adds up.
