Questing XP Update - 15.7k xp & 23.6k xp from turning in a daily quest?

This Double XP affects daily quest turn-ins right?

Just did the 2 daily quests in Tideholm and the Courier kill quest gave me 15.7k & dragon kill quest gave me 23.6k.

That doesn't seem correct. Especially if it's the case where the xp gain is doubled, meaning half of that is the true value...

I will have to check other quests and note their rewarded xp cause holy hell... that's not really a buff.

What other sources of xp buffs did you have when you turned in those quests?

The +100% xp buff from the witches festival applies to the base xp value of everything. It will only be truly double what you would otherwise get if you do not have ESO+, are not using a Ring of Mara, and do not have any other sources of xp buffs (scroll or potion, etc.). If you using a 150% scroll or potion, for example, the 100% event buff constitutes a relative increase of only 40% over the XP you'd be gaining otherwise (350%/250% = 1.4), not 2x.

Don't forget that they Devs made changes to the XP and Gold outputs with the latest update. Perhaps you should check the Natch Potes for more infos.

    Regarding the Event XP-Buff.

The 100%-XP Buff should be activated by blowing/using the Witches Event Whistle. The one you get through the intro-quest and with which you can summon the cauldron, which you can use to morph yourself into a skeleton.

I am not sure, but I think that this is bugged or that the devs forget to turn on the XP-Buff.

I've been using the whistle over and over again, but I did not get any XP-Buff at all  . At least there was no icon shown in the character screen, which normally indicates the active buff.

The witches buff is automatically applied as the event started; it's now a passive. It's working fine. All the whistle does is call the cauldron so you can use the skelly morph.

This looks like it's all as expected. Standard quest xp is about 7.5 k, a "hard" quest has a 1.5 multiplier. Add event bonus to that and it's about where you are

Thank you for the info. Group and training gear are irrelevant for quest rewards (they only apply to the xp from the kill itself), so you only had the 10% buff from ESO+ it sounds like, on top of the base xp and event xp buff.

Standard quest reward - for your Tideholm delve/courier dailies:
    7485 xp (base quest reward for level 50) * 2.1 = 15,718 xp

Hard quest reward - for your Dragon daily (counts as an incursion quest):
    7485 xp * 1.5 * 2.1 = 23,577 xp

Also if Altmer, you get an extra 1 % xp boost,if oyu use that race. It's probably right, jsut without knowing to write things down before, harder to tell.Like someone said, some quest turnins are about 7k,and some 11k.Wouldn't worry about it,it's free XP.
