Old RND group finder not working any more even for tanks

If you're queueing for a RND in the old group finder...
...You do not get paired up with groups in the new finder, even if you see them come and go.
I queued as tank for a RND. Time and again, I saw dungeons popping up in the *new* finder - often 2DD + 1H looking for a T, for a specific dungeon.
I, as a tank queueing for random, should have been automatically matched with at least one of those groups.
But it did not happen. At least half a dozen times.
...You do not get paired up with groups in the new finder, even if you see them come and go.
I queued as tank for a RND. Time and again, I saw dungeons popping up in the *new* finder - often 2DD + 1H looking for a T, for a specific dungeon.
I, as a tank queueing for random, should have been automatically matched with at least one of those groups.
But it did not happen. At least half a dozen times.

✭✭✭✭✭the new finder wont really add to the queue because its likely going to be a full group of 4 already, you cant be matched with a group that is fullplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

The new group finder is not meant to interact with the extant queueing system: "Note that this helps you find other players that want to do the same activities as you; it is not a queueing system."1 -

✭Oh, so it wasn't an interaction (or lack of it) with the New Group Finder.
That still doesn't change the fact that the Dungeon Finder was not working for SEVERAL people who have all reported it, for a couple of days. Including at least two people who were left queueing for literally hours as tank for a RND and never getting sorted into a dungeon.
However, last night it worked again. I have not yet tried it today.0
