Launcher Play Button Does Not Launch Game

Not sure if this is the correct location for this post.

Is anyone else having this problem with the Launcher on 11/1/23? I played without problems last night.

Is there another way to launch the game?

if you have the game already up to date on patches you can run the executable directly to just launch the game

the only technical reason you use the launcher is to make sure the game is patched before running it, if it is not patched running the executable directly will fail

I forgot to mention:
1. I play through Steam
2. I searched all over today for a game executable and had no luck. Could do a search if I knew the name of the file.

this should show the game install path, file itself should be eso64 or eso64.exe

i think running the executable directly from the games install folder should work for steam, but i myself dont play through steam and cant verify that

I have a game install executable that would install the game (I suppose directly on my PC). Is it worth me doing this so that it creates the game launch executable?

Do you have your support ticket number?

A full reinstall from the game launcher would be another step to try.

Same issue here, adding my voice to the crowd. Just did a repair through the launcher and nothing. I also can't find the "eso64" executable
Edit: full repair worked.

Update:

Installed the game on my PC last night, and was able to get into the game. It's definitely a different launcher.

Oddly all my add-ons were active, though some config was needed, and my Re-Shade stuff was totally missing.
