one drive causes a lot of problems for minion, i personally dont like it and i always disable the one drive

Try pointing it to the actual game install versus the documents copy that ESO generates. I've got mine on the E drive and had to manually point to that install, then copy the addon folder and paste it in the documents version. It's a pain to do every time you update, but it is a reliable workaround.

EDIT: I also let the system overwrite the files so that I always have everything up to date in the Dcouments copy.

Ive tried that addon management software so many times and it always goes wrong, it decides to draw from the another folder or some other crazy garbage thinking. Ive been updating manually each update since then, which isnt a drama just replacing folder content easy peasy.

This way you do not have to update it each time, as it links to the folder. Changing one changes the other

I know, but I like having manual control over what updates and when. That way, when something isn't acting right, I can easily roll back. I also have several redundant copies of my addon folder. Old photographer habit, make sure the backups have backups.

Minion has been running like absolute garbage ever since the servers came up today. It has been suddenly deciding that it cannot access the internet, or it doesn't see my addon folders, or it crashes. A few times, after manually closing the app from the task manager, it refused to start at all. Must be server demand and the poor skeezy app not having the ability to do common things like understand timeouts.

At patch days you can often have the issues that Minion and www.esoui.com are under heavy load (many users updating many addons...) so just be patient.

Ranting here and using words like garbage and sarcastic messages like poor skeezy app does not help.
It only tells us you think you can do it better, so maybe just do it!
Create a network of addon websites for different games, maintain it frequently over years in your free time, provide code and tools, skills, people, and pay all that from your own money :'(

Patch days are always troublesome, not only for the players. Think about all the addon updates needed and time ppl invest so that things run normal. If it does not run normal for a few hours, or even days: Well, *** happens. Stay calm and better say thank you to the guys of esoui.com making all that possible (which is not done often enough, and especially in between, not at patch days) instead of writing such messages above.

Thank you for spreading a bit more love, this should be "common things"
And if this is not possible for whatever reasons, you can always update your addons manually.

What do you mean by "Not loading ingame"? More details please as this could mean anything from error messages shown or addons not shown at all or addons partially shown but you cannot enable them: In the latest case check the > icon and expand the addons to see what dependencies the addons need! And install these via Minion too, e.g. LibAddonMenu-1.0, LibCustomMenu, Lib..... and so on.


If you did not mean that and your addons do not show ingame in the addon manager:
Take a screenshot ingaem via vanilla keybind and note down the path it shows top right.
That path, ecluding the traling /Screenshots folder, is the path where ESO needs to find the /AddOns folder and your addon files in it.

Usually this is c:\users\your windows username\documents\elder scrolls online\live but sometimes it is all of sudden c:\users\your windows username\appData (hidden folder!)\local\Elder Scrolls Online or any other path
There is no way to fix that, if it happens move your live/ folder over there -> from c:\users\your windows username\documents\elder scrolls online\live

If it is still shown as c:\users\your windows username\documents\elder scrolls online\live then your antivrus might be blocking Minion? Allow it access and especially whitelist the folder of Minion.exe AND c:\users\your windows username\documents\elder scrolls oline too!
