Deathmatch Weekend event has been fun - I heard that there are changes to the queuing system...

A couple guildees in my PVP guilds mentioned that there are changes coming to the BG queuing system. I don't know whether these are related to the U40 Group Finder changes.
I wanted to ask: is it true in U40 that I'll be able to queue for Deathmatch mode? Can I do it solo or do I have to do it as a group?

✭✭Sadly, there are no changes coming in u40.
Myself and many many others wish zos would add in the very least, a group deathmatch queue and have the "group random queue" not include deathmatch. Please grant us this small request. The bg population will do better for it.
As for the group finder, it will let you find people who want to queue for group queue, so you can queue as a 4 man, but it won't let you find other teams to queue against, and it won't let you form a lobby with 2 other teams you wish to fight.
So in short, there are no queue changes and the new group finder tool does essentially nothing for the group bg crowd.

✭✭IMO, the change they should make is to add more deathmatch modes. With modifiers like damaging ground effects, sigils and buffs, seeing through walls, explosions on death, special synergies, etc
The most popular mode could just use some variety. Then we could have 1/2 or 2/3 games be deathmatch, but still different. The score objective would still be killsPC-NA

SandandStars✭✭✭✭✭BGs are seriously not in any way a priority. There are probably less than 100 people total playing them on xbox na.
No new content for years, tedious/unflexible queue, same old pvp lag/cc bugs/glitches etc. No investment= no growth.0 -

✭I actually enjoyed it. I prefer objective based games but it was nice to go full ham on damage put ne up to number 4 on the leaderboards!2
