Depends on the character.

A couple (one of my orcs and one of my dark elves) wear gray and black.
One of my orcs wears blue and gray; another, purplish-green (King Orgnum's Wine) and black.
One of my dark elves wears red and black. And another wears green and purple.

i use the Grace of the Green skin on my bosmer sometimes.

i love purple or orange/red with green and

i usually use amberleaf earrings for minor adornments.
purple royal lipstick or conjurer's eyes for head markings(really wish there were separate categories for head markings).
hopesbud coronal, cherry blossom diadem, or gemcutter's spectactles for major adornments.

i use dark green/blue for my outfit's colour but not really because of the skin

My Argonian's skin is an olive color. With some colors, it looks more green; others, it looks more brown. I usually have her dressed in the Lizardly Four-Fabric outfit using a dark green that contrasts well.
