Ideas for dead/burnt trees

... that aren't "apocalyptic" or "daedric".
I was wondering if anyone had ideas for using these, I have a lot of them now and just can't get my brain to hit "out of the box" on these. Other cobbles (seats, loos, etc) I have no issue with throwing stuff together for, but for some reason, my brain sees these "dead and burnt" sticks as "dead and burnt sticks". I'd love some inspiration, if anyone has some ideas.
