Trifecta is hardmode, no death, and speedrun at the same time. Most PvE content has an achievement for it with a title. It's mostly a prestige thing in the endgame community.

After some point in progression that's the only thing that can be satisfying enough in a dungeon / trial / arena content, simple clears aren't even scratching the itch.

To add to what has been said above - there is a trifecta for most dungeons and most trials. The very oldest ones don't have a trifecta title. It can take weeks, or months of practice to complete the hardest trifectas.

Besides prestige, it can also be a fun challenge.

Yes, it does give cool titles and achievements, but it's also nice to be working together towards something with friends. I do my dungeon trifecta's with the same group of friends and we always have enough things to laugh about, while actually doing something challenging.

It's fun and challenging. It creates the thrill of improving and fine tuning your and your group's play and a sense of accomplishment once you have done it.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

It is impossible to reach the "no death" achievement in PUG-Vet. :#
Sometimes or usually, do solo tank fight, or fail to revive ally and wiped mostly... :D

Sure it is. But a trifecta is more than just no-death.
And since PUG's are ... well... random people with different expactations and usually no voice com etc., scoring a trifecta in such a run is pretty unlikely.

Sure it is. Heck, I’ve done a Trifecta with a pug before (3 premade, 1 pug. So from their POV a pug Tri). Sometimes you do get good players.
