Hide Guild Tabard Option Request #9999

I love my guild. I love the people that make up my guild. I would love to represent it with pride.

What I don't love? Showing a ugly submerged in ink apron. Guild tabards are an eye sore and some of them don't even properly go with the new armor styles leaving it to either clip or show off a black undershirt that looks goofy on someone who is suppose to wear heavy armor.

I would love to represent my guild with the tag alongside my name though!

I honestly can't believe we still don't have this option.

I ended up using polymorphs and costumes on most of my toons so I can show my guild tag but not see the tabard but that's pretty limiting so I would love to be able to just hide it and wear what I want.

Bruh, not only would this look better, but it'd be a godsend in PVE, PVP & RP.

Even in RP, I'd love to go to events and see "oh wow, these 3 guilds have a lot of members present, I should look into them" or "half these attendees are from that 1guild, they must be the hosts". Plus, for all gameplay, "oh we can have 5 guilds - but that's the one they rep? let me ask why that's their favorite".

I would love this. I'm tired of having to wear a costume when I don't feel like looking at my tabard. I really like my armor and want to see it and the tabard covers most of the top.

The tabards just don't look all too good, and with how nice the more recent chest pieces are now, it's just such a huge sacrafice to wear one and, more often then not, killing the vibe of your outfit. Or at the very leas, redeign the tabards or have different designs and ways to wear them or something.

I would love the option to hide tabbard! I don't wear costumes or polymorphs as i tend to be a nerd and custom mix&match my character outfits.

Never, ever used a guild tabard or seen anyone do so. Do they do something else when worn? I imagine it is not simply a case of "just unequip it lel".

They put the guild name on your character or @name but at the cost of covering your amazing chest piece

Agreed.

Though some of the "new" armour styles are now getting to 6 years old, and they still don't work with the tabard.

Looking at you, Apostle chest.

I don't see why ZoS isn't able to "quickly" add such a QoL option.
Most of the system is there, just make the tabard invisible.

I rememer this request form the old days, so many people in my guilds asked many times for this so we could wear tabard without that ugly apron ruining all the carefully created outfits.

Now almost all my guilds are ghost towns
