Hey guys,

I am doing some theorycrafting right now and I noticed esohead's crafting calculator was incorrect when calculating bonus % on improved items.

As an example, defending gives you a 4% boost, but when you improve the item in game to green, it jumps to 6%.

As I do not have all of the resources to improve a bunch of traited weapons, I was really hoping someone could list how much each item improves percentages-wise, when improving it with tempers. Specifically, I would like to know the legendary levels, but if you have info on green/blue/purple I would be glad to see those as well.

Thanks in advance!

Cody

Esohead has accumulated a lot of misinformation since the day it launched. For some reason, they refuse to fix some of it. Personally, i don't use it ...

Watever-head has always been incorrect at and whenever I looked at it.

Really, it's a train wreck, coming on fast, a real nightmare. :confounded:

There are some good crafting threads in the forums that may have the info you want.

I just craft what I need and how I can either get it or at least want it.

It needs a huge update but I guess whoever does it isn't interested in it anymore.

Search function can be useful sometimes. I posted some of the trait values in this topic a couple of weeks ago:

    forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/86704/trait-values

If you have a more specific question about an exact trait - please tell. It is very easy to check in game since upgrade to the epic quality does not take much effort and you don't need to upgrade to the legendary quality to see the numbers.

Awesome. This is what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately that thread doesn't have two of the three I'm looking for.

Two Hand (sword & d staff):
    Legendary precise value
    Legendary defending value

Does anyone know these by chance?

I'll see if I can get you some values on those.

Edit: Defending on 2H Sword and Destruction Staff at Legendary is 12%.
Precise on 2H Sword and Destruction at Legendary is 7%.

I believe "Superior" improves to 11%.

Celless, you are officially my favorite person right now.

Those are quite literally EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I got thrown off last night because I swear I found a dropped two handed sword that was purple and had a 7% precise bonus. It completely threw me off trying to calculate the linear progressions. Maybe I'm crazy and it was actually a 6% but I swore it was 7%.I'll check tonight (I am currently using it and didnt sell it) and confirm if it is in fact a 7% bonus.

As of right now I am just going to assume your numbers are correct and that I am crazy.

As a hint for future, you could just place this sword in the improvement slot and see the tooltip for the upgraded version. You don't need even a single upgrade item to do so.

I actually thought about that, but as the data was different from what I thought it should have been I was 'worried' for lack of a better word, that dropped percentages differed from crafted items.
