    The most disappointing too.

Players have been asking for Spellcrafting since the feature was announced in 2014.

I am guessing Skingrad, Winterhold or Hammerfell. But I am leaning Skingrad area unfortunately because 10th year and the main story with Prophet and friends is Imperial lore heavy so kind of lines up.

If it is Skingrad I probably won’t get it, kind of Imperial’d out honestly.

You were able to break out of the map in Cyrodiil and see the structural formation of Skingrad several years ago, as early as Orsinium.

It’s definitely going to be a place we see sometime, it just doesn’t seem right that it would be next, given we have yet to see a Bosmer or Redguard chapter.

Yeah, agreed. Bosmer might not be a popular enough race for 10th anniversary but Redguard is. Especially after Sai Sahan accomplished his dream back in an Elsweyr quest, love to see a follow up on that.

Imperial is all over this game too with IC (including two dungeons), Gold Coast, main quest w/ Molag, Blackwood, Cyrodiil, they were even the enemies in Elsweyr.

In the video the location of the inn room is revealed, so we ''know'' we're getting at least that location.

I want a new skill line or weapon. Don't care where we go, I just want something that can freshen up the older classes, without daft balance changes. Only balance changes I want to see is; fix necromancer, make no-pet sorc real again and finally, do something to make light armor builds comparable to medium armor builds. I miss playing a mage but it always feels like I am gimping myself when I do, as medium armor is just superior.
    Spell-crafting is a pipedream. It'll never happen.
A new skill line is very possible though.
Struggling to find a new class to call home. Please send help.

Years before Nefas made his prediction, you were able to break out of the map and see the entire low-res pixelated city that they left in the game for the future to make designing the city much easier, as they have the structures where they need to be, developers won’t have to pull up Oblivion to find out where each building was.

My idea is as followed: The next zone will be a continuation of this year's story so therefor should be located in an area close enough to Morrowind to still be a part of the "Shadow over Morrowind" arc but at the same time be different enough that people do not feel like they are buying the same expansion 2 years in a row.

Therefor the zone should be none other then Winterhold as it were in it's prime, the new mechanic should be

    Scroll Crafting

Scroll Crafting would add a new crafting profession to the game earnable by joining the College of Winterhold and would be liable to impact both PvE and PvP content, with scroll crafting you would beable to duplicate any existing non-ultimate class skill in consumable form, these would function exactly like potions where there would be a short cooldown between uses, the College itself would add a Scroll Crafter Station to the game and such an item would also be sold from the writ vendor to be added to your home.

Scroll Crafting I believe would be a possible alternative to such things the community has been asking for such as Spell Crafting which could never be balanced in an MMO as fun as it would be and class changes, I also believe that going by this idea that Shalidor would make a decent Tribute Patron.

I would like a new skill line, much like that of the Psijic Guild. Ever since Summerset, we haven't seen anything like that being added to the game.

For example, i'd love to have a "Thu'um" skill line. We don't have to be a Dragonborn just to learn how to use the Dovahzul.

Please not more Skyrim. That's been done to death. Somewhere new like Hammerfell would be my choice but I'd happily take Falinesti or somewhere totally new, not just an updated version of a place from the games Skyrim or Oblivion.

Spellcrafting was explained in great detail during a showcase at Quakecon 2014… I suggest you watch it before you make assumptions about how it would be balanced.

There was an entire section that explained the gives and takes of the system and how there wouldn’t be a possibility of an all-in-one spell.

Not to mention, if the fear was balance, Spellcrafting options could be trickled in, extending the excitement from patch-to-patch, while reigning in any outliers.

In perfect fairness winterhold during ESO timeline would be nothing alike the winterhold in skyrim. We are talking the college at it's prime, couple centuries before the great collapse, with large thriving city built around it. Going by the stories told of this time in skyrim, it would also be a place with substantial dunmer population, and it fits to the theme of mages and secrets started with Necrom. On additional note, there is not much room for a map north of eastmarch, so the larger chunk of such potential expansion would have to be placed somewhere else - following necrom trend apocrypha for example. I could see people being tired sick of the colour green for a while....

That’s fair but I am tired of Imperial myself and Bosmer bore me, Redguard be cool though. However, the only part of Skyrim that could fit with a 10th anniversary is Winterhold because during this time it’s still at full strength and ZOS can do almost whatever in that area like snow elf delves/ruins and frost giants and unique stuff and it would make complete sense since it was destroyed in 4th era.

There have been a lot of promises made back in the day that have been left either unfulfilled or only partially completed.

At this point it's time to let spell crafting go.

I don't expect anything major this next expansion.

    So we have 3 contenders.

    Cybiades, winterhold, and falinesti.

    My sources.

Azandars last name and hints to his home region,
The map of winderhold region recently was changed,
And the graht squirrel pet in necrom.

All three of these things have been precursors in the past to new expansions.

    Omg new idea.

Three new zones at once. One for each alliance

Every year until that promise is fulfilled, you will see the same request made by the community.

Until there is an official statement made by the team regarding Spellcrafting as a feature, and a future with or without it, these requests will persist.

I think one for each alliance, providing its own story/unique ending to the Herma Mora story would be pretty sweet.

It is the 10th year, kind of a go big or go home moment.

azandar's home region isnt cybiades he just named himself after it. his home is kozanset.

the map of winterhold wasn't changed, the video on YouTube about map changes incorrectly used the lore accurate map addon for the winterhold stuff.

the squirrel is pretty cool, we also got two new bosmeri outfit styles with Vinedusk assassin and Y'ffre's Fallen Wood.

but we'll see what it'll be in January.
