Finding it hard to find a balance.

If i want to be a nightblade DW/bow then i will wear med armour.

If i want to be a sorcerer with destruction/healing staff then i will wear light armour.
But if i want to be a tank/bow or staff then i need two different types of armour to be effective, bit i can't use two types of armour everytime i weapon swap.

What i want to be is a 2Hander templar and switch to sword and shield but can't seem to figure out what armour to use for both,
to be efficient in both i need med armour for 2H and heavy for 1H/shield,
whats the best way to balance that out??

It's not all about the armor, you have to look at the passives.

Going full heavy will just over charge your armor stat anyways. So you decide do you want to wear some medium and get crit or light and have your class skills cost less magicka.

Yeah, try a 5/2 or 4/3 combination of the armours that give you the best passives. Medium if generally for crit and stamina regen, heavy for health regen and defense vs critical, light magicka regen and so on

Some people even go with a 3/2/2 mix

Against Baron, I went full heavy armor on my vampire sorcerer, with health/mag regan +8 potion.

and even had to use Energy Overload to beat him.

Reason im bringing it up, is I switch gear/stats depending on major fights, normally its 5light/2medium

Best way of the OP balancing his different requirements is to roll different characters. Twice or thrice the fun without the conundrum!

It's not all about the armor, you have to look at the passives.

Really look into them. Even the higher level passives. Each one will give you something you need aside from base armor cascading. I currently run. a DW DK Kajhiit. I use a mix of heavy and medium. I use the heavy for the health regen passive as it synergizes well with the racial health regen passive. I throw in the medium for stam regen and crit wjich also synergizes with another racial passive. I use the DK abilities to spam defenses and CC while I play whack-a-mole with my DW crits. I would suggest taking an hour to look at all the stuff you can use and think of how it will synergize with your character.

What about for your second weapon bar, what weapon you using and would the armour work for both
