Option to block a player from being in a dungeon group with you? (Falkreach low elo speedrunners)

Is there an option for this? IMO blocking them just stops the possibility of conversation right?

I am so tired with these 100-600cp players running past my taunted mobs in falkreach, telling me to die at the next boss. And since i feel i cant control myself anymore soon with
this [snip] behaviour, i would like to just block them from being in my group the next time :)

There is not. As you said, blocking only prevents communication, nothing else. And there's no alternative, other than running with a pre-made team.

Technically blocking only prevents them from sending messages directly to the player and prevents seeing what the blocked player posts in chat.

But you are correct. The GF does not reference the ignore list. IMO it should prevent being grouped with them for a GF dungeon but not BGs.

Unfortunately, its such common practice that blocking people won’t work anyways. I hope the new group finder helps you.

    Greetings,

This thread has been moved to the Dungeons, Trials & Arenas section, as it is better suited there.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I've noticed on Xbox, if you block them though the xbox, they won't end up in your group again. At least I've observed it from my end.
Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just lucky.

we cannot stop from being grouped with a blocked player, however the upcoming update to groupfinder will be interesting to try maybe a blocked player cannot join then i dont know, but why we are forced to joining blocked players again seems silly. atleast theres an option upcoming to make the group before the dungeon starts so if anyone joins you dont want in the group we can leave without a penalty and join another group that fits the description we are looking for im hoping this upcoming change is a good upgrade to the now outdated groupfinder

Yea i know but just because its event doesnt mean they can loose all their manners and force everyone to speedrun the dungeon. I am not the kind of guy that clears every needed monster pack but i surely dont want to wipe on purpose just to skip 20 monsters, that can be cleared fast. On top of that these guys are mostly not even able to solo a boss on their own, which makes the whole thing so weird..

Good suggestion. I would like to see a blocking feature in some future upgrade of the game so you'll never be in any group of trial with the blocked player.

If the tank is good they can be cleared fast. Most people assume the tank isnt good.. even in normal fh a mino will 1 shot a dps. I tank also. I feel you here. This is a pain in basically any dungeons. Im in heavy armor. Im slow. Come on now lol

    Is this Normal Falkreath?

When I farmed Ironblood a few years ago, I got my speedrun down to less than 8 minutes. Players loved me. All of the trash between the first and second boss can be skipped if you just run straight past it. You don't even need to die before engaging the second boss. You can just nuke everything down with AoE.

In this case, I would want to block anyone who kept showing up in my group who wanted to take the dungeon slowly.

Sorry but it goes both ways.

If it was Veteran Falkreath then I understand why you want to take it slowly.

Sorry to say this but the best solution is to form your own group. Expecting to get 3 'civilized' players to join you in random groups is too much to ask.

I will always wait to see if someone picks up the quest when running randoms, wait at known quest 'chat' points, and make sure I stay long enough for them to hand the quest in at the end. But I'm only 1 of the 3 randoms.
