I can only guess what happened at the beginning of event quest

So many ppl stayed near npc and almost every one have a companion. It's not only hard to understand what's going on but also to select an npc to talk.
Why not place those npc in dungeons or at least spread them in different locations?3ljc0dji395w.jpg

    When I turned up everyone was a sorc with their flappy getting in on the action! Apparently some sort of ceremony happened but I don't kow what

    You get companion gear, but only if the companion is out and it has to be the old fart or the lizard exclusively. They're gonna be everywhere.

    most of my toons havent even bothered unlocking azander or sharp because of the ridiculous long intro quests that im still annoyed i have to run on every single freaking toon (i only have them unlocked on 3 toons right now)

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    You do not have to do that if you do not want to. It's a game, an entertainment product. It's purpose is to provide customers a way to get rid of their time for profit. MMOs in particular are such waste of time because that genre is designed to be played indefinitely by people with various amount of free time.

    what i want is to be able to access account wide unlocks on each toon without needing to run the quest on each toon lol

    companions are acct wide unlocks, they are "unlocked" after you have completed their intro quest with 1 toon, but they added this ridiculous requirement to need to still unlock them on all other toons

    so while i would like to use the new companions more to experiment with them and variety, i am now refusing to run the intro quests for them if there is no way to fast track/skip it, i will unlock them on 2 toons, my main (for the story and rapport) and a dps toon for powerleveling

    i already have azander and sharps keepsakes unlocked, so im already getting the bonuses from them even only having them useable on 3 of my 11 toons

    Yeah, the thing with the tentacles and the eyes would have been better if they stood on a plateau with an invisible wall, so you'd be able to see it. But it was also funny with all those players bunched up, hearing dramatic voice lines while seeing nothing :p

    I encountered the same mob initially. Lesson learned for me is to wait and not check things out in the first few hours of an event. Same area is calm now.
    PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo
