Lead: The Heartland

this lead may be bugged. I spent several hours killing delve bosses and opening chests (over 300 lockpicks used) at the rate i'm farming, this thing is impossible not to drop. I must be killing about 2-3 bosses every few minutes, and opening chests 1-2 per minute. If possible please look into this? Thanks!

Are you opening chests in Cyrodiil? That is where I found my leads for that painting. And if I remember correctly they were all in above ground chests.

Yes they are delve chests and bosses in cyrodil

Strange to see someone who have issues with this lead. Heartland lead is actually annoying me, because it drops so often. Dug it up more than 50 times already.

I mostly got it from bosses, that are "spawned" by quest givers in the villages.
Maybe try doing those quests and you have success with that too

Get some Cyrodiil maps and see if that helps.

Alcast’s Antiquities guide mentions Gati the Storm Sister in IC Sewers as a source for the lead, in addition to Cyrodiil treasure maps and delve bosses.

EDIT: also, the antiquity itself is listed in Alik’r though the lead in in Cyrodiil, perhaps you got it without realizing it

I did the Gati boss quite a few times, nothing. Does it only drop if there's a quest associated with that boss? I'm not sure if there is one or not, or if it's just random chance to drop with each fight.

none of the IC bosses (sewer or distrct) have associated quests

i think the spot ive gotten this lead from the most is treasure chests in cyro or cyro treasure maps

So I decided to go through the entire sewer killing every major boss as well as collecting each chest.

@Rageypoo Did you check to see if the lead is listed in Alik'r like @katanagirl1 mentioned? Because it won't show as a Cyrodiil lead.

Yes, I checked and didn't have it.

After several hours of collecting cyrodil chests with treasure maps, nothing dropped. It wasn't till I went inside a delve and killed a random zombie enemy that it dropped. An extremely bizzare lead that took way too long to get. I'm still convinced that the drop chances are bugged.

Altogether the lead was 3 full days of grinding, nutty.
