So now that the server updates are complete are we going to get some new updates for PVP? It’s been quite a while.

    No sorry, the refactoring of the game code is still ongoing and likely to last until 2027 so no new features until after then.

    They have a new flaming oil emote coming to match with the trebuchet emote. That's the new pvp content. Rejoice pvp'ers :smile:

    I will not name names but I would like to point out to ESO developers how another MMO where PvP has neve been the main selling points is gonna to introduce a new guild war mode in a 300 Vs 300 map.

    I really don't like that game a lot but the thing got me very interested, why my dear ESO developers you don't try to invest a little in PvP?

    Except most people would rather play a working, balanced ESO than solo games.

    Capture points would be a nice addition, maybe at the ruins scattered throughout Cyrodiil and worth enough campaign points or AP to capture them to actually get people out of keeps to fight for them in the open, rather than keep or tower farming or shooting with siege weapons.

    Similar to resources but more in between keeps and without towers!

    If that won't happen, I'll also settle for a two-person guar mount with sidespan.

    The reorganizing of code is what Zenimax expects or expects to bring game performance improvements. That is not complete and it seems some part of it did not go as expected which probably slows the process.

    Zenimax had said that the addition of multiple systems has slowed the process which is why they wanted to do the reorg. They also stated they would be cautious of adding new systems until they improved performance.

    Unfortunatly, this game will not support 600 players on the same PvP map at this time. Over the years they have decreased the pop cap multiple times to where it is a shadow of the original cap all to improve performance. There is a game with an open-world venue that they could use as inspiration to bring all of Cyrodiil into one scoring platform but it requires bringing all of Cyrodiil PvP into one design instead of the boutique campaigns we currently have.

    I'm not suggesting they should introduce such a great thing but just something new and interesting.
    I would love some 16vs16 or 32vs32 map

    Have you taken a look at steam charts recently?
    ESO is down 25% players since the introduction of BG3/SC, imagine what a new TES game would do.
