Three leads drop from Galen treasure maps - way too much RNG

I found out today that not only the Eldertide Shoulders, and the polymorph piece drop from Galen treasure maps, but also a music box piece. After 3 million spent on treasure maps because they don't drop for me AT ALL. I get the music box piece, which drops from regular treasure chests, and has much better RNG.

ZOS PLEASE make the petrified barkskin polymorph piece drop from an additional source with a much better RNG rate, or please improve the RNG

SO ANNOYED AND FRUSTRATED >:(

Yes, the lead for the music box piece is listed as from treasure chests, which is where I originally got it. Made the music box.

Today, the gold lead that dropped from purchased Galen treasure MAPS was the gold lead for the music box, not for the polymorph. Why? Why have 3 leads dropped from those scarce maps, combined with RNG for said maps, which is pretty horrid.

I only bought maps today because I knew I was on a good loot table....... and I was, but it WAS NOT the gold lead that is supposed to drop from the maps.

I've had tge same issue maps are now going for 30k on tge ps4 NA server with 1.5 mil down and no lead this is no longer fun and just out right torture

I've used over 150 maps just trying to get the final codex entry for the Ancient Daedric motif chapters, and yet I'm still missing Daggers. It's absolutely absurd that I can pull half a dozen of every chapter but the Daggers WILL NOT DROP. It would be nice if the folks at ZOS would listen to the people playing the game and have things like this curated for the first round and then randomized after all pages/codex entries have been completed.

This is a timely post, I literally just spent close to a mil on the Galen maps trying to get the last lead for the skin...no dice, but I did get the other two. I give up. Feels like it's broken.

i got the music box lead from regular chests, the only leads i got from galen treasure maps were the skin lead and the eldertide shoulder style pages

still way better than the 9 or so leads from apocrypha/telvanni peninsula maps

I agree the treasure map leads, especially the motifs, have too many layers of RNG.
