Counting crux - need improvement for tanks

Hello zenimax,

I am exploring tanking with the new arcanist now which I like quite a lot so far.

Though I would be happy to see an improvement with the the crux count to make it more easily readable. The icone in the list of buff/debuff doesn't stand out from the tons of effects on me. The number is a white number on a light green triangle, which makes it hard to read.

People that don't want to use addons (or, like me, can't because of console limitation) may also have a harder time to count crux while a bunch of visibility nuisance are on screen. Sets like maw the infernal, colusus ultimate, trees... subtitles are sometime in the way too.

Hopefully this issue is significant enough to be taken into a qol meeting someday :-)
Otherwise, i'll just lean to deal with it.

    I fully agree that the visible amount of crux could have been handled a bit different than the current version is.
    Just in case any pc players don't feel like waiting for Zos to consider doing any changes to it, I would like to recommend the Addon
    "Crux Counter" by g4rr3t.

    It's fully customizable. My current setup only shows the pulsating ring right around my crosshair as soon as I enter combat. I've fully hid the animated crux icons circulating around it and I selected a high pitched sound file to notify me once I collect 3 crux (It's a sound from the antiquity system, I hear it even during the messiest of files and now when to beam as a DD).

    If you're looking for a fully customizable indicator for your crux which you can either setup to be incredibly prominent for safety reasons or subtle but not overlooked or overheard too easily, this might be an alternative for you.

    For console players like you, I'm sorry. :(

    They do need a better way to make this easier to see and use for sure. Especially since they changed the speed the triangle move around the player. I would like a count to be added to the skill bar somehow to skills that use the crux.
