Any chance of future viable dagger/bow builds?

Hello all,

I'm a relatively new player to ESO and currently main a Stamblade. While I'm enjoying my current build (DW/2H), I would really love to see some strength come back to daggers/bow - this is really what the NB (rogue) is supposed to be about. Not to mention having ranged attacks to fall back on when we can't be close to the boss for melee attacks. I would also love to see some love given to the Nightblade class in general to bring us on par with other dps classes. Yes, I know we can play how we want to play, but I still want to contribute as much as possible to the fight. With that said, what's the likelihood of seeing DW/Bow meta builds coming in the future?

Which is it? You’re a new player or you’re a hardcore end gamer that’s going to sweat a one percent damage difference? I don’t understand this post. I’m calling bs.

And this Stamblade has a name containing “Magick”. Clearly something fishy here :D

On a serious note, Daggers and Bow are both very good options right now. Maelstrom 2h back bar is just for classes with a lot of direct damage ticks, like Templar with jabs or Sorcery with Armaments. Nightblade performs great with Bow/Bow or DW/Bow.

When I started playing that was the Stamina meta, and I am very fond of it.

As others have said you can use it, it is very viable. Maelstrom Bow on backbar is good, and even Masters bow in some boss fights.

Endless Hail and Poison Injection instead of 2H skills. Meteor as ult still but Ballista is OK. I used this as a "magblade" (crazy game) up until very recently as just a overland and dungeon setup. Using bahsei and is easier to manage mag resource with more stam skills, and I preferred bow over 2H.

On stam any of the meta sets will work.

Nightblades need more love though, of this, you must agree!

I deleted my StamBlade, because I can play melee on a Magicka Nightblade, too. Only I do more damage and have no issues with sustain and survivability.

DW/Bow is a pretty strong choice atm on other classes. But if it will fit you on your nightblade playstyle, i don't know. If you are looking for META, you need to get roleplay ideas out of the head and look at what's doing the most damage...
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

I feel a whole lot better about my nightblade than my stamcro. I feel like I’m really riding the struggle bus when I play him.

    i agree completely..
I think a dot damage build might be good still for that specific nightblade playstyle..

They are most likely outdated but KristoferESo did a couple of awesome build videos on his "poison" nightblade using dw/bow that you could prolly tweak to be better using current stuff.. but if not the builds are relatively cheap to make and imo fun to play..
