in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)
I don’t know, but it’s looking like everyone I would do it with doesn’t really play anymore… so… uh…

i'm hoping it's more "enemies/mechanics scale in difficulty until you just get obliterated" and not "continue fighting the same things until your fingers fall off." would make score-pushing more interesting than just turning it into a speedrunning category.

I've enjoyed "Endless" content in other games such as Warframe but, I really don't think it will work in ESO.
To me, ESO's strengths are the world and the story and the combat is probably one of the weaker areas.
As a result, an Endless Dungeon misses much of ESO's strength and is playing into one of the weaker areas.
Maybe, it could work if combat was significantly overhauled and a fair number of the animations were improved but, otherwise I really don't see it working that well for that many people.
We have not even seen the livestream for this endless dungeon. As such it is not much more than pure speculation as to how this will play out. The answer of yes or no does not hold much bearing.
The whole concept of an endless dungeon is snooze-worthy to me, and I can't say I'm not disappointed we're getting this instead of a new zone, but hopefully it isn't riddled with bugs and some people end up enjoying it.
I'm not a fan of grind and I can't imagine what the difference should be between running the same dungeons over and over again or being in the same dungeon where the monsters and perhaps the visuals change.
I think it will.
I don't really care about rewards, at that point. I'm end-game, and I have everything I could need (or could throw heaps of gold to get it anyway)
I see this as a endurence test, and I'm happy with such an idea being implemented in game.
Depends on how much work they put into it, both in terms of mechanics and design. Usually the dungeons team does an awesome job with introducing new mechanics, but for eg., the BRP arena, which was highly anticipated, had 5 stages, and stage 4 was basically a step-by-step repetition of all the previous stages. It was as if they ran out of ideas. The design, aesthetics-wise was also pretty unimaginative as well. I'd like to think we'll get pleasantly surprised but not sure how much effort goes into the game anymore.

The game is already too grindy to get the gear your after. This sounds like an endless grind and not fun, especially if they put the good gear drops in the endless grind dungeon.
I'm not a fan of grind and I can't imagine what the difference should be between running the same dungeons over and over again or being in the same dungeon where the monsters and perhaps the visuals change.
Im the opposite player I like grinding in a game unless its useless rewards, by useless i mean lets say they drop 2 new sets there and thats it I will most likley not even try their new dungeon.
But if theres good rewards that you can farm over and over im happy to spend hours in the new dungeon.
