2h Maul or dual maces are nice too for raw damage, but that's about it.
Flame staff... subplar

The last thing I want as a templar is to be stuck blocking and playing defensively on my back bar. I'd rather heal back full life very quicky, put some HoTs on, and go aggressive again.
Considering how well I am performing in Cyrodiil with this build, I wouldn't say it is a bad pair of weapons at all, surprisingly enough.

It is painfully ironic that this game prides itself and boasts on “play how you want” when the options for competitive PVP continue to get more and more narrow down to almost nothing.
