The Shadowy Phoenix is a guild that is led by people who have been role playing for a long time. It mainly focuses on the progression of one's character via his her or her story. The Shadowy Phoenix itself will expand, based on events and the players in it.

Right now, the guild is only a small-time mercenary band brought together by only one desire - gold. The guild receives tasks that they have to do from the Aldmeri Dominion, who they officially owe no allegiance to. Everyone in the group must still muster their own equipment. Throughout these "tasks" a.k.a role play events, the guild will eventually expand to something bigger. What, who knows?

Recruitment, at the moment, goes through whispers and such. It might go this way in the future as well, but preferably in-character recruitment will go through an advertisement that you, the joiner, would see or hear from somewhere. Be it in a large city or a small town or even on a random tree on the road.

The following can be read from the advertisement flyer:
"To the adventurous and bold, to the strong and the brave,

Gold can be earned in many different ways. In these dark times, it most comes through battle and war. If joining the army, the oaths of service and the bad pay is not something that appeals to you, the Shadowy Phoenix has your answer. Come, join many others in battles that take no battlefield, yet leave you a rich (wo)man!

Look for Diégo in the Barbed Hook Tavern at dusk. He will be on the second floor in front of the fireplace.

As mentioned earlier, we're a heavy RP guild. As such, decent roleplaying skills are necessary. These include, but not limited to:
  • Knowing what metagame is
  • Knowing what powergame is
  • Common sense
  • When to use in-character
  • When to use out-of-character
  • Decent grammar

If all of the above apply to you and this seems appealing, the guild is open to you and any friends you may want to tag along. We're a friendly guild and we won't start bashing on you if you can't roleplay but want to join anyway.
