DLAA flicker

DLAA introduces a flickering when moving your mouse very slowly and smoothly or when you start moving from standing. It's most noticable on the leaves in trees.

Here is an example (please watch in 1440p to see it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfseEVLtZEY

Could something be done to fix it? If it wasnt for this DLAA would be the best AA method IMO.

I'm having a hard time choosing what AA method to use, either you get jagged edges that glitch out with no AA, a blur filter when moving with TAA or with DLAA a flicker effect for a milli second when moving character or camera most noticable on tree leaves.

I made a post on reddit and it seems the sharpening filter that is force enabled on for both DLAA and DLSS. I'd love to know how it looks with no sharpening applied but I doubt the devs will ever read this and test it :(

I have finally found a fix:
Download NVIDIA DLSS DLL 2.1.55 from this page:

    https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

    (scroll down bellow)

extract and copy "nvngx_dlss.dll" to the ESO main folder and overwrite.
    That´s all.
    No more flickering.

I'm getting the same slow movement flicker with the current nVidia (531.68) drivers and DLAA enabled.

It's not so bad that I would disable DLAA; TAA also has a bit of flicker with slow movement.
(Early on, DLSS/DLAA artifacts with things like trees were appalling.)

I'll stick with DLAA for now - but I'm looking for any artifacts that TAA doesn't have.

BTW, GeForce Experience pushing DLSS upscaling as the "recommended" setting when DLAA at native resolution works just as well is really annoying. If I wanted to run at 1080p, I wouldn't have bought a 1440p monitor.

    Is it legally to do?

That's a good question I would like Zenimax answer... It shouldn't be an issue per se, as the DLL isn't made by them and shouldn't be part of proprietary protections, but it could be if there's an anti-cheat system checking the game files.

It won't affect anything on the server side. so it shouldn't be forbidden, like reshade.
