But what I noticed is that the stuff you're seeing in your screenshot are the titles and text for the scrolling announcements at the top of the page-- the ones where they have a picture that stays up for several seconds before scrolling to the next announcement, and after going through all of the current announcements it rolls back to the first one. Maybe your computer needs an update for something, or needs you to change the permissions on some kind of scripting, so that announcements banner at the top of the page can function as intended?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

The stuff you're seeing comes up for a fraction of a second but then the page displays as expected, so there might be something about your setup (system and/or permissions) that is either preventing the banner announcements from loading completely or preventing the script from running after everything loads.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

I didn't notice any change to the format of the forums the other day, but if there were any changes to the forums and the main web site then maybe something needs to be reenabled in your security/antivirus settings?
Another thought-- if the page is having trouble loading correctly, maybe there's something that can't be saved (overwritten) to your system because an old version of the file got write-protected or something? Perhaps clearing your browser's cache will help? Or maybe you need to check the browser setting that determines whether frequently-visited pages should be refreshed on every single visit or not?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

As I recall... this just means that CDN content is not loading. That can simply be because where ever you are trying to get it from isn't giving it to you. Meanwhile, other people are getting it from other places just fine.0 -

My guess is that if you look at your browser network log for the website when it is having an "issue" you will see that "prod-eso-forum.css" is not loading from akamaihd.net.

Style sheets (CSS files) govern what the forum looks like. It looks like the forum's natural appearance is shown in the picture posted above. Tan. The file "prod-eso-forum.css" that is downloaded from akamaihd.net (the content distribution network) overrides the tan look of the forum to give it the appearance that you are looking for. ZOS provides the file to Akamai and Akamai stores it until your browser asks for it.
If that file is not able to be downloaded from Akamai, or if something in the browser or Windows is preventing it from being properly used, then the forum will be tan colored. Fonts might be different. Background images will be different.
The browser network log is technical, but it seems a lot of people know about it, so I mention it. Others here in the forum who have this problem might know more about how to use Inspect in the browser. Maybe what I posted above will provide them a direction to see what is happening on their end.
My hope is that it is a browser issue, or something in Windows firewall or virus protection, that is causing the problem. That will be easier to fix, I think. What ZOS can do is actually pretty limited, I think.

Disabled Norton VPN and the pages came back to normal. Reenabling the software, the problem returned. Now, how do I report that to Norton ?
