What you mean is the average. I suspect that will be somewhere between CP1300 and CP1500.

Average is a generic term that can mean any number of ways of finding the "center" of a set of data.

The most common averages are...
1. mean - the sum of all cp levels / number of accounts
2. median - the 50th percentile in a list of all accounts ranked by their cp
3. mode - the cp level that has the most at it out of all the accounts.

All of these are averages.

That said, the median account is probably somewhere in the low hundreds of CP (if not even below CP level) given that probably over 90% of ESO accounts are abandoned, unplayed, were made in a 'free' event and only got to level 10. (The mean account is higher than the median, since CP level is a very clearly skewed to the right distribution)... and when you have skewed data, the median is generally accepted as the most "accurate". This is true in real life distributions as well that have a strong skew to the higher end of the data, such as earnings, house prices, etc...

If we're talking just about active accounts, I'd surmise it's in the 600-800 range.

If you're talking about players who care enough to come on the forums regularly and post, significantly higher, as they are obviously more invested in the game.

It really depends on what area of the game you are playing. Overland I'd think 400-600 CP is the median CP, in veteran trials is seems to be 1600-1800 CP on average in my experience. I'm not sure about PVP.
