Alik'r main story line is completely broken

The link between "Ash'abah Rising" and "Tu'wacca Throne" is completely absent. Throne Keeper Farvad is very hard to find easily and we can't go further without a annoying searching for the next quest.

Please, ZOS, you must review the original quest lines of all alliances main stories because many of them are broken/lost.

I finally found Throne Keeper Farvad in a completely different part of Alik'r map, finished the "Trials of the Hero" ( I think this is the name) and... NOTHING! No continuity, no link to the next quest!

Did entire Alik'r desert yesterday(PC EU), and the story moved from one part to another as it should. Are you sure you did all the required main story before this, including clearing the docks, entering the vault, becoming ash abah?
The main quest giver at tu'wacca's throne is always standing a slight bit north of the delve located south from tu'wacca's throne, and is easily spotted, no matter how you approach tu'wacca's throne. Except maybe not from the wayshrine next to that dolmen, as I always walk from the ash abah camp to tu'wacca's throne directly and pick up that wayshrine later after doing the tu'wacca's throne part. (my guess is the quest assumes you walk/mount to that part of the mainquest)

For the record, I'm on my second alliance for my new arcanist character, and haven't run into any issues with the main quest not continuing as it should. (Currently in Bangkorai)

PS: It is also possible you already completed parts of the main quest out of order, causing him not to show up.
PPS: Rivenspire's "favor for the queen" which moves us to alik'r desert is marked as a normal quest, not as a main quest. This should be changed to a main quest questsymbol.

The "Trials of the Hero" is a weird bit - a bit that seems to have actually been cut out of the Alikr story quest. It is actually now a separate quest that ALSO involves Farvad, but doesn't actually lead anywhere.

Where you actually need to go, is up the big set of stairs from the Goats Head Oasis (the wayshrine near the southwestern dolmen) and look for quest arrows up there.

It's also possible, yes, to have done parts of the main quest out of order - Alikr is particularly egregious for that.
    What's supposed to happen:

Sentinel - Ra-Netu attack, the theft of the Ansei Wards
Ashabah Camp - become one of them, get sent to Tu'whacca's Throne, meet Throne Keeper Farvad. Fight the first major boss - Uwafa.
Get sent to Bergama in search of a scholar
Get sent north to Tava's Blessing, meet the second major boss - Alasan
Get sent back south again in search of a scholar named Shiri, who may be near Hoon-Ding's Watch

(THIS IS THE BIT THAT SEEMS TO BE CUT OUT OF THE MAIN QUEST)
Meet Priestess Sermenh who knows nothing of the person you were actually sent here to meet. While you're here, meet Throne Keeper Farvad again. Do the "Trials of a Hero" at Hoon-Ding's Watch, and fight alongside Redguard ghosts against the ghosts of their enemies of the past (Nedes, Goblins, Orcs, Bretons) and learn the words and ethics of some of their more legendary heroes.
    (END EXCERPT)
Get a messenger telling you that the scholar in question is not here at all, as you learned from Priestess Sermenh. Get a messenger summoning you north to Satakalaam.
Get there to find that the Imperials have invaded the place. Freeing the town is actually a sidequest: while you're doing it you'll discover that Shiri is the missing third sibling whose name nobody could remember, and is joining her now-dead (or undead) brothers in trying to resurrect their father, Suturah the Necromancer. Track them to the Motalion Necropolis and deal with them.

The trouble is that there are *many* parts of this quest which can be done out of order, and if you do, then you'll end up with nowhere to go if you do an early bit later, and have to just explore the whole zone to find out where you can pick up the thread of the story again.

It may be that the best thing you can do is hit M, then look on the left for Map Completion, click "Open Zone Guide", then "Continue Zone Story" and the game will start you on what it believes to be the earliest available Zone Story Quest.
