Upgrade Clues not dropping anymore?

I started ToT after necrom patch. Clues were already pretty rare but in the past 3 weeks or more I have not gotten a single clue, and I do the daily everyday on one character, and a few days I did it on 4 other characters as well... basically over 60 tribute reward boxes, around 20 of them being purple top quality!
Is this normal?? I just wanted to finish all my upgrades for the sake of completion but with each match (even novice ones) taking 10-15 mins on average, this is seeming like a massive waste of time.. everyday around 45 mins playing ToT and only being rewarded with random trash in the reward boxes...
Anyone else experiencing this?

I got an Alemalexia deck clue twice, and I dont even have necrom so I can't use it. I destroyed it the first time but got it again, so I figured keeping it in my inventory might stop that one from dropping, and so far it seems to be working
