They did not. My mistake, thanks for reminding me.RandomUser123 wrote: »Trade me in game and I will give you three woodworking surveys for a good chance at your rosin.

Did they unbind surveys at some point?

I say its a bit different asking for help on an world boss or something cheap like weapon for trait research.I think its worth noting that my experience of the community over my 5 years of playing ESO has been that I have always found people willing to help. Total strangers even. I'll always respond to requests for help and likewise have found people will always be willing to help me. There's obviously the odd troll or bully but in no way have I experienced a decline in the friendliness of other players.
This is about not being given something for free - stop trying to dress it up like some grandiose violation. People don't like beggers. The stuff you want is what other people have earned.

You'll probably get it back eventually from your daily login rewards, or even sooner by refining mats, or from Tales of Tribute rewards. And the player receiving the temps can pay the favor forward for someone else.

I read it as he asked for 2 rosins, or asked for 8k gold (so he could then buy 2 rosins).

Note, I have no idea what 2 rosins go for at the guild traders, although I'm pretty sure it's way overpriced just like everything else at the guild traders.

May I please have 2 Chromium Platings? It’s not such a big deal after all. I mean, it isn’t like I asked for 20, or 200,— just 2. I’m sure you’ll get it back eventually. I promise to pay it forward.
Thank you very much.

The fact you want people to sell or give away their gold mats when you could have just gone to another guild store to buy some (which is super cheap atm anyway), or the way Zos balanced Redguard? I don't understand what any of that had to do with not being able to get 2 rosin out of convenience.
I am glad you asked, if redguard was competitive and not lackluster, I would not have to change my build and not ever have to ask for 2 rosin. Problems occur when a series of events line up. It's usually never one thing.
