Leads in Dungeons

If you insist on putting Antiquity Leads, can you PLEASE put them on Bosses that are part of the main line.
1) You've designed this game to the point all people want are BIG, fast, flashy numbers, and in doing so turned every dungeon run into a DPS speed run. Good luck convincing them to stop for a side boss...
2) In some cases it's now just a point of grieving. People are deliberately pulling Main bosses to transport others away from trying to get side bosses. Or worse in the case of "Coral Aerie" where they will DO the first 3 side bosses and disband the group/drop the group after final main boss while saying "GoOd LuCk On ThAt LaSt BoSs"
Since I dont see Human nature improving anytime soon, could we PLEASE move Dungeon Leads to final Main bosses?

Do them solo if there aren't any restricting mechs. Or form your own group instead of pugging.

I like the idea, but honestly, you should probably do the content within the first month after the release. Otherwise, it is much harder to PUG it. If you do it when the content is first released, everyone is chasing those leads and you can get a group easily to obtain the lead. (I got all of the mythics in the first week of the release of Necom, because I knew it would be the only time I'd be able to easily PUG them).

But I do not disagree with you. I like the idea. Just letting you know for next time - don't wait so long to chase the lead. Regardless of your excuse for not having done it before...the only "good" time to chase a lead is at the beginning.

While doing it early would fix the here and now, what about those who missed the 1 week everyone else is doing it. Like that random new player a month, 2 months, a year from now?
Hell, I missed it by what 2-3 weeks?

I did do Z'Baza solo but you can't expect everyone to solo DLC dungeons. They are made with a group of four in mind, they are a challenge to a lot of people. And Z'Baza is not a fun, enjoyable fight, and the hardest boss in there. Was glad I got it on the first try.

That lead in Coral Aerie is quite disgusting, I get it at my third time after defeating the final secret boss. But I can't remember how many times I finish that dungeon. At the last several times I said at first if not for the final secret boss I will quit.
btw I still think and highly recommend this lead should also drop from the final boss of Cloudrest.

How did you reach Z'Baza without 3 more people for the platforms that unlock her cage?

I have no idea what you mean. I killed the guardians and then I killed her.

Pretty sure it requires all group members, up to four, to stand on them. I've definitely done it with three so I should think solo you only need to stand on one.

You don't need a full team to unlock Z'Baza

You can do Z'Baza solo. If solo, only need to activate 1 platform; I've done it a couple times.

OP has a point, but I'll deal with a thousand side bosses if they'd get rid of leads on treasure maps.....

NO! Just, no! It should not be made so that skipping and ignoring Side-Bosses is supported or even rewarded! Instead ZOS should:

A ) put additional rewards - for example Weapon drops from the Sets you can get in the dungeon or trial - into the Side-Bosses. That way more poeple wouldn't skip them and instead kill them..

    or...

B ) Punish players when they skip bosses and use terrain exploits (shortcuts). For example by automatically moving/spawing all skipped bosses/npcs at the boss they moved to with an 1000% dmg buff, so that players won't be able to kill them and die instantly *muhahaha*:tongue: ...

A ) weapon/jewelry drops just prolong the inevitable. Once gathered in their collection, its back to full tilt speed runs.

B ) the problem isn't the main boss line, it's the leads being on bosses that are optional. No shortcuts, no exploits, straight DESIGNED to be skipped.

This, I did NOT know. Thank you.
I'll see if any of my characters can solo it...
It sounds like it'll be a pain in the butt and slow as snail sludge, but at least there's a way.
    Again, thank you.

What? Really? Is there seriously an antiquity lead in Coral Aerie that is ONLY on a specific bonus boss, not the regular bosses?

A reasonable suggestion. Meanwhile I suggest to form specific farm groups for the leads you need. Running with premade groups is much more enjoyable than pugging anyways.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

I think the point is to add incentive to do the secret bosses. Basically no one was doing Z’baza before.

Yeah these are probably more antiqitities that I won't complete because of this. I helped a guildie get the lead but failed to get it myself, and everyone was so burned out after running it multiple times that we just disbanded.

ZOS has adjusted where we get leads in the past so hopefully they'll adjust this one at some point as well.

Well. For starters, antiquity leads from dungeon bosses need to be *more frequent as a point of principle*, and from secret sidebosses need to be *a lot more frequent than leads from the regular final boss*.

Because everybody does the dungeon's final boss, and not everybody does the secret boss, and it is not within the player's control whether to do the secret boss or not, because it's dependent on OTHER players agreeing to do it.
