I was fortunate to have a short login queue for PS5 NA earlier today.

Now I can’t get back in at all. Nonstop “internal error” message. Another friend of mine did get in just now, but earlier today had a 30-minute queue wait to do so.

It’s not just PC broken. ALL the servers are broken.

Or it could be a DDOS - friend of mine in Germany said there were nearly 200 DDOS attacks beginning early in my morning (US MDT), with the biggest issues in central EU, east coast US and southwest US. That would certainly affect all platforms.

I've had queues as I tried to get in on everyone (3 accounts, both PC megaservers); I did finally get everyone on and then off - and the game itself was fine once I got past the queues and into game. Not like a server issue in game at all.

Yes had a que and login errors last night on PS NA for an hour. Funny thing was my alt account had no issues.

Earlier today had a que and login errors for maybe 5 minutes but have been logged in now for a while.

    This whole thing is wild.

Yeah I think it's some kind of attack.
    Not about new players.
The free to play promotion was only for PC from my understanding.

The fact that there's no news must mean they don't know what the hell to do yet.

What I think they're doing is "all hands on deck" trying to mitigate problems as they arise, trying to keep the game online while the servers are under attack, and no one really has time to tell anyone what's going on.

The last time this sort of thing occurred (might be 2 or 3 years back now, I really don't remember) something was said later about the situation.

If it really is a DDOS attack as some have suggested, the timing is bad: a lot of people are already assuming that the trifecta of free ESO+ trial, Zenithar event and free ESO promotion on Epic is what's causing the long queues.

Ah.... no. The timing is perfect from the angle of those who may be DDOSing. It's all about reputation. ZOS is taking a MAJOR hit to reputation....

I agree with those that say having the Epic FTP, free ESO+ and the Zeal of Zenithar Event simultaneously was a tad ambitious to say the least.

Has nothing to do with console, which is also experiencing the same thing.

There is no big unmanageable wave of people.
Something just broke. Was attacked etc.

Gotta agree with this. Our(Xbox) ques weren't nearly as bad as PC but they were there. I admit I just automatically assumed zos was borrowing from Peter to pay Paul on resources somehow(if that's possible) but something breaking or an attack is just as plausible.
