its been happing alot lets push the limits of the servers game engine to breaking point overload the data center thats whats going on, eso free to play trail event at the same time. cant support player numbers. I think the new players are having a better time logging on everytime i go to log in 30mins or more que like cyrodill have to wait for people to logg out. The new servers promise fix problems but not getting any better.4

upsetting alot of old time players to breaking point they end up leaving the game so they dont have to deal with ther comments and feedback asking for improvments and help in enjoying the game. As a new player they have no idea how eso is managed knowadays8

What exactly is going on that PAYING customers do not get in to accommodate free trial and Epic free game people.6 -

✭✭✭✭Although on Friday my new Epic account, which ofc atm has free plus, seemed to get in faster, I am now seeing similar queue times on that .
Yesterday all of my accounts were getting 15min+ queues but I didn't get any failure to loads, dreading trying today

I was already looking forward to trying both BG3 and Starfield someday, but hadn't pre-purchased either game yet because I was having fun with ESO for now.
But due to your post and the 1+ hour queue I'm currently in, I just bought BG's Early Access too (so thanks for mentioning it
). Hopefully it'll be as fun as those old DnD CRPG's.

Already playing and I don't think I will miss 1 hour queue times. BG3 is very good but my disabled wife prefers ESO to any game so this is particularly stressful for her0 -

it's not that, I was in game until 10 mins ago on pc eu, cyrodiil was empty (just Gray Host was 1-1-2 bars), craglorn was empty, some people doing dailies in galen, high isle and telvanni peninsula but the game feels empty. Nothing compared to the population in the past years (like 2020) where the game was full of people everywhere and we didn't have any login queue.PC-EU0 -

Ya I was having trouble with log in Ques yesterday for 1-2 minute ques and today I keep getting 20 minute ques and still can't get into the game.
Struggling to log in for a 1/2 hour ques and still not get in just to do dailies and get tickets isn't worth my time on a weekend.0 -

I just cancelled my ESO Plus subscription. I have been a subscriber for many years. I decided to send a message with my wallet. That is they only type of message that companies like this understand. Wait times over an hour and terrible server latency are unacceptible. It does not matter that the content and game are great if you can't play it.4 -

And a 108 of that type which just hangs to when you close the requester.

I get the frustration folks have. I'm not loving the queues or the extended crashes trying to log in Friday night...but the repeated posts I've seen slamming certain ZOS staff for not working 7 days around the clock feels like a bit much.
I hope they'll learn from this and take appropriate steps in the future.
I'd just encourage folks to try to keep it respectful/constructive. If the issues are beyond what you wish to deal with, vote with your wallet.
So far, we're talking about a few days of capacity being stretched. Let's keep that in perspective. Over the 9+ years i've been playing, i'd have to take a wild guess that these issues haven't been present 99.999% of the time.

✭✭✭They don't have to work 24/7. Most businesses that are open 24/7 have weekend staff to to give their reg employees a break.
They don't leave the store open and empty of help.2
