Thought I'd do some farming to kinda unwind. So much for that idea....gads I'm so glad I stopped playing this game after U35....besides the occasional pop in and upgrade the horses that is ;)

An hour plus queue is not really what you expect in a massively multiplayer game, no. As for "entitlement", ESO is a paid-for service, whether you bought the base game or also subscribe to ESO+.

ESO RNG is so out of control, it's now applied to whether you can log in to the game or not

FF14 would like to talk to you. In late 2021 the game was so popular it sold out for a few months because there was such a sheer number of people that got onto the Endwalker train

Hours of queue is expected from a launch day of a new online game. Not from a dusty 9 years old mmo over month after release of last morsel of content. Somthing gone ping, be it DDoS or a critical hamster failure or just lack of resources needed for event, free ESO+ and Epic store thing.
Some communication, even the "We are aware".
