The fact an ESO+ free offer exists at all is enough of a spit in the face to those of us who pay. Let alone not having priority queue in place like every other online game in existence with a sub.

    TRUTH!!!! You will lose a lot of us. Maybe us year subs can't get our money back but next year I'm playing something else.

    Don't worry there is a chance they will give us a guar pet as an apology. That should fix the issue.

    I understand that they have a free trial for ESO+. After all, it's just a very limited time it's free, and this way players can see the benefits.
    Sadly, not included in those benefits, is to skip the log in queue

    yeah I finally unsubbed after being subbed since I started playing in 2016. This + the quest bug is just too much

    Hope for ZOS that the influx of new (and very temporary) players is good enough news over loosing long time players (that have already spend a lot of money in the game and would do so more). Curious how much $$$ the majority of the people that nabbed the *free* client on Epic will fork out in the game the coming months/years...

    Considering this issue also exist on console, it seems Epic giving ESO for free is not the main issue. Sounds more like they messed up something with the servers.

    Basically quest progress is messed up; the game thinks random quests you've completed are uncompleted and vice versa. Unfortunately it's not UI only because when the game thinks you did a quest you didn't, certain areas are locked, quest givers won't give you quests, etc. Also affects things like TOT because the game thinks you didn't do the tutorial quest when you already did, so you can't queue against players.

    It started with Necrom and a lot of people have tested on PTS and found out that the kill 20 arcanists PVP daily quest triggers it.

    It's nothing to do with the ESO+ free trial. They run 3-4 times per year and there has never been log in queues like this before. It's probably more to do with the game being given away free on EPIC last week along with dodgy servers

    We pay ESO 20 times over in a few years of ESO+ with its "special rewards". And yet we have to pay a lot to get DLCs, new improvements, upgrading our Characters, EVEN CHANGING THE DAMN TOON NAME we have to pay!

    I just cancelled my ESO Plus subscription. I have been a subscriber for many years. I decided to send a message with my wallet. That is they only type of message that companies like this understand. Wait times over an hour and terrible server latency are unacceptible. It does not matter that the content and game are great if you can't play it.

    Us paying customers used to get something during these free plus trials.
    Admittedly, a crate per day we logged in, or whatever other deal they put for that trial.

    But we used to get something. Now we've been forgotten I guess.

    Once again it feels like the newcomers are a much more valued customer while they currently pay Nothing.

    I think it's all of it together: free ESO Plus, Epic event for Fortnite items, Zenithar ingame event and it's weekend as well, so all in all I can see why a lot of players try to login. Still dumb though whoever planned this and then as you guys previously mentioned, ESO+ subscriber don't even have priority.

    I waited an hour to queue in this morning. I just ported to another zone and got kicked out... now I have a 55 minute queue... This is ridiculous... ZOS needs to address this IMMEDIATELY!
