    34 minute queue that jumped to 37 then 38... Game hasn't even crashed or reached 1s yet either, just nope, dropped back further into the queue for no reason at all.

    Relogged to try my vpn to see if that would help at all (it usually stabilizes my ping enough which does typically help with not getting a spike that drops me from the server, nope, now its 1hr 20 mins.

    So much for a simple log in to collect tickets + writs before bed...

    I was 20 minutes into my 18-minute queue, then error 108. Try again and then this... brb, gonna live the rest of my life.

    Gotta say, the results are obviously in no way representative of what's happening inside the game, but I do love the image of one single, lonely player wandering despondently across Tamriel, abandoned and forlorn.

    What normally takes me 2 to 3 hours to do (daily crafting writs, couple of daily quests, event tickets and the few things I can be bothered to do for event reward boxes) has taken me 8 hours to do today with the CTDs and login queues.

    So I've logged out, cancelled my ESO+ (20 days left on a recurring 6 month sub of 6 years) and will binge The WItcher season 3 and find something else to play until Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield drop in a few days.

    Edit: The silence from ZOS is deafening

    The elder scrolls online for PC-EU is now not fit for purpose (effectively inaccessible/unusable ) nor of satisfactory quality( the unnanounced queues are static, don't count down and give no accurate indication if the game can be accessed at all).

    Can't say PC-NA is much better, other than the meaningless unmoving queue timer message is just over 30minutes when compared to the >90mins on PC-EU.

    The initial queue was a few seconds below 2 hours, but it dropped gradually to under 1 hour in 7 minutes, and 5 more minutes later it's at 46 minutes.

    UPDATE: I got in ok after just under an hour. No problems.

    I was logged in after a 1+ hour queue, got the event tickets and did a few dailies. I've just logged out again though - BG3's Early Access has installed in the meantime, so I'm going to read up in the different classes and probably play that for a bit this evening.

    Don't bother flooding their inbox. The only official response you will see is that they are looking into it.

    I feel like this is a DOS attack as it's affecting all platforms.

    nah, queue = to many players, i think all the EPIC freeloaders try to play ESO.

    I logged on to PTS and had a bit of knock about with one of the characters I haven't used lately.

    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

    Based on my last attempt this afternoon. Queue timer said 48 minutes, but was at 43 minutes after half an hour. I only had an hour spare anyway, so I gave up. Early this morning, about 6am, I logged in fine (I’m an early riser). Late last night, after 11pm, I had a 2-3 minute wait. Thankfully I managed to do what I really needed to do this morning.

    I have to say… for such a widespread issue seemingly affecting many folks, the vacuum of official communication on this is alarming.

    Gosh I'm in. After only 1.5 hours. It was make or break whether I'd get in while doing my washing and then lose it for inactivity. Lots of players standing around doing essentially nothing. Presumably for fear of having to queue for seven days if they log out. :D

    Since yesterday afternoon I used to consistently get 5 minute queues but of course now it's up to 33+ minutes. Way to portrait me as a liar, game. :(

    I think I'll play something else until tomorrow, when folks are back in house and can fix the servers.
