I am playing ESO online now for more than 6 weeks - without having a X-Box-Live abo. It worked just fine, until today. Suddenly it says I need an Live-Gold subscription to be able to lock in to ESO. What’s going on here? I just don’t get it
"I drain the blood of our enemies and fire it into you. It's a lot less messy than it sounds, and yeah I'm basically a Vampire without the whole AGH FIRE BAD"
I can guarantee you that it has been that way since at least 2019, which is when I started playing ESO on console. You may have had a gamepass or gold membership from some kind of promotion and didn't know it, but it has always been required to play on Xbox.
It's the reason I switched to PC, since paying an extra $30 a month to play and have ESO+ vs paying just $15 for ESO+ was an obvious choice.
Tybalt Kaine Khajiit Nightblade Aldmeri Dominion
PC/NA
Guildmaster- Lucky Raven
Knight of Marrow - Blackfeather Academy
Adepti- The Witches Goblet
"Nightblade healer huh? How does that work?"

have you ever thought of reducing the amount for xbox eso Plus? Since technically the 7.5 billion dollars and paying micrsoft already $16 has given the studio plenty of fund to become something of VIP or highly discounted for being on the platform and supporting yall for how many years..
Again while paying both...
maybe give ultimate game pass the ability to have eso plus and work out a deal to bring more player in...
great marketing idea. just saying.. and a fun way to show your gratitude to Microsoft alone..
