Lost companion and all gear? Bad bug

My Arcanist companion was level 9 with equipment. I opened the ragpicker, and when I tried to re-load my companion, it said I had to do the quest! I lost it all. LOgging out didn't help. Help !!!

Let me know how this goes after customer support has got back to you. I swear one of my alts lost a companion too.

... how does your zone guide look? Do you see anything marked that you know you haven't done, or anything that looks unfinished that you know you have?

There's a bug right now that borks quest states all over the world. I haven't heard anyone say anything yet about Companions being problematic (and mine seem to be fine, as I did manage to swap my Companions around at least once since I got hit with the bug), but there are other parts of the bug that do act just like that e.g. you can't queue into Tales of Tribute matches because the game thinks you haven't done the quest when you obviously have.

Another major issue is that it permanently locks characters out of quest-locked areas, so there are some quests (and most zone quests) that end up completely uncompletable because of it.

Yikes that's a serious bug if it's affecting quest states like that. Wonder if I'm affected by it?

When I look into zone guides, the map shows that I went to all the places needed for the arcanist companion quest.

How do I get ZOS's attention to fix this? Any ideas?
