no email code?!

came back after being gone for many years to check out the arcanist class. bought the expansion, added 3 months of sub time to my account, all that without a hitch ...
I try to login to the game to get blocked by some silly access code screen that says they emailed me a code in order to get into the game (PLEASE DEVS STOP DOING THIS NONSENSE! & just add a proper 2 factor authentication to the game) ... only I never got any email so I can't even log in to the game I just dropped 170 bucks on, which seems absurd to me.
I even went back to my account page, tried changing the email address associated with my account & tried logging in again ... still nothing.
Tried adding elder scrolls email address to the safe sender list & making them a contact ... tried logging in again ... so no email code!!!!
opened a ticket with support ... still no reply.
what the heck do I need to do in order to get into this game?! send smoke signals?

wiulax58✭✭I am having the exact same problem right now. Never got an email with the access code and customer support tickets have not been responded to. This is complete horse crap.2 -

Customer support contacts me & COMPLETELY IGNORES everything I wrote & just cuts & pastes the same stupid message without reading anything, so nothing ever gets fixed!!!
