I'm not gonna get the crown crates for daily login rewards because I keep on going on vacation during the month of July. I'm gonna miss all of next week's login rewards as well. Next month I promise I will get them all.

It's summer. I like going outside when I'm not at work or gaming.

Lipsticks are always faded on vampires, and I don’t recall how they work for Argonians and Khajiit, if at all.

Lipstick is not faded on vampires. It's one of few markings which are not.

On argonians and khajiit they look like this @Rikkadir

The flame atronach crates contain a superior item that is a big reminder of how predatory the crown store and crown crates in particular can be: Mages Guild Formal robes.

This is a costume that every player can get for free as a level up reward once you hit level 20.
If you picked that one instead of one of the other two the first time you reach level 20, I assume/hope you get gems.

However, if you pick one of the other costumes and then open a flame atronach crate and you get the Mages Guild Formal robes… you get nothing except that you don’t have to level two more characters to twenty to get the costume…

None of the level up rewards should be rewards in clown crates.

I think I did the same thing once or twice before. I remember I was only after a few body & face markings, nothing rare. I still didn’t get what I wanted! But yeah, free stuff is free. Shame it’s often unused and can’t be given to someone else to enjoy

Yeah. I never use body markings, face markings, or adornments, but I usually get quite a few of those when I open crates. Would give them away (or trade them for something else) if I could.

Correct. And if you don’t choose the Mages Guild Formal Robes the first time you hit 20 on a character then there is a chance you get it from that crate and you get the situation I mentioned. Level up rewards should not be in crates at all.

I guess I did ok. I received the Pocket Mammoth which I already had, the Centurion costume and some type of Brassilisk from a bonus card. The rest was gem fodder.

Hmm.

I got my four Flame Atronach crates on Xbox... sadly, one got lost. Customer Support insists that it was opened, but due to a UI issue, I never saw that happen and have no idea what was in it. If anything. Just because customer support says it was opened doesn't mean that I received what was in the crate.

I asked if they could tell me what was in the crate, but my guess is that they don't know any more than I do.

Two of the three crates were surprisingly fruitful, so I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the lost one.
