Solo emperor possible?

HalfDarkV2
I am fairly new to pvp. At least cyrodiil. Played a lot of bgs and have a little bit of pvp experience in terms of combat etc. So i was wondering if its possible to get emperor solo. I read that it's easier to get it on a smaller campaign or even below 50 so i made a new character and right now i am in the first place of my alliance's leaderboard. Although i can't get the 6 keeps alone. Asked friends guilds etc but they either don't have slot for a new character or not below 50 at all. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I play xbox eu btw

I'm not familiar with below 50 and/or console. Is the zone busy enough to start a group from there and lead people in the right direction?

Tried that but there is absolutely no one from my alliance to reply. I didn't even see anyone, only 4-5 people from other alliances

Congratulations on getting 1st on the leaderboards!! That's the hard part. But unfortunately it isn't the only part. Now you have to keep 1st until your alliance decides to own the map. The waiting and uncertainty will be annoying, but be patient, it'll happen eventually. If it doesn't then you should try a toon of a different alliance next time. Nothing you can do if there's just literally nobody on your team.

Guilds can be a little toxic towards people they don't know, but as long as you aren't involved in a dispute with them they should be indifferent. If given a chance I would definitely make it publicly known that you've never had Emp before. Most everybody gets on board for that. Even the guilds, and even possibly someone who passed you on the leaderboard. Speaking of which-- maybe make it known that you will let someone else pass you after you've had it.

So basically the answer to your question is yes, you can absolutely do it solo. But joining a pug group and taking some emp keeps yourself is definitely helpful. As is making friends and announcing your intentions.

That makes sense, right? Play solo all you want, but if and when your alliance is capturing Emp circle (for you,) don't be repairing walls somewhere else.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i guess i have to keep trying and if not this time maybe other alliance next time will be different.

Just keep your eye on it-- the alliance thing I mean-- it should be pretty obvious if you're just always gated LOL.

If you have to start over do it right from the beginning of the campaign. It's easier to get it when everyone's equal than if you let someone get 100k ahead. I'm sure you already know how to get points because there you are in first place already. But still this next tip might be helpful if you have to start over.

Load up on the PvP quests, complete them ALL, but don't turn them in. Wait until the campaign resets, go get a delve buff, and then turn them all in.

    Pretty much what OBJ said.

I did achieve emperor as a solo/duo mostly, though my alliance was very active and taking the map. Depending on time of day and populations, you /can/ take keeps solo, but man its a slog lol.

But, again like it was said above, definitely let people know your intentions, almost everyone will be willing to help you (and I can speak for some AD comrades, that literally ran away from keeps before it flipped to avoid capture ticks to make sure people emp pushing had a chance lol).

I emp'ed twice over the last few years.

I did have support of about 4 to 6 different players, guildies though, so not true solo.

Smaller groups are better for xp and resource farm anyway. Get better xp per hour imho. If you can find a few friends to occasionally hop on and help, it's smoother.

The other option is if you have a loved one that enjoys the game in house. I would nap sometimes when I just couldn't grind anymore and my 11 - 12 year old son at the time would hop in and grind with my friends, LoL! Keep that score rolling.

It is kinda a job to emp most times pending on campaign, how busy it is, and how many people decide to boost early.

I enjoyed both runs though. Both super rewarding and gaming experiences I'll never forget. Use screenshots of my emp status and tricked out characters at work and home sometimes on my PC, Haha.

I have 2 main PvP'ers on PC NA (EP) if you ever need help on weekends, I can possibly try and assist.
