ESO OBVUOUSLY does not want Xbox to have working in game voice chat!!

This game has had so many of my friends leave due to the lack of social options IN GAME.... it sucks making friends now and the "social" option we are left with is text chat an thats just the most toxic communication available ... MICROSOFT OWNS THE GAME NOW..... WHAT IS THE DELAY IS FIXING IN GAME CHAT?!?!? YOU ARE KILLING OFF SO MANY SOCIAL PLAYERS ..... PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED PLAYERS SINCE RELEASE!!

I haven’t tried it in awhile, is it 100% not working now? Because last year it would choose when it wanted to work, you might need to reset your game.

Just pointing out that you've spelt OBVUOUSLY incorrectly in the title. It's spelt 'obviously'

As far as I know, there is no voice chat on any platform for ESO, hence the need to use Discord for group play. Maybe try downloading discord on your mobile device?

console has built in voice chat in the game itself.

It does sometimes but it midas well not because it works for some then not for others and most have just given up on it completely

ive played ESO since day 1, there is a voice chat in it since day 1, it was HIGHLY used and attracted alot of people because of it.... here are some examples, each guild has 4 channels, and a basic Area chat.

TBH text chat killed voice chat.... and made the game ALOT more toxic to communicate

In game guild chat being broken coupled with the reduction of group size from 24 to 12 has probably done the most to erode social community activity. Saw so many people drift away due to lack of interaction. The endgame community is tiny, pvp is neglected, questing may as well be single player, all that is left to promote is self-generated actitivities like socialising, housing, roleplay, player-created games and events, etc. Not having a unified in game voice chat, and limiting group size restricts these activities. Sad to watch.

As for the point of this thread, I doubt MS is intentionally treating xbox players poorly and making sure PS players get all the shiny stuff.

As for the point of this thread, I doubt MS is intentionally treating xbox players poorly and making sure PS players get all the shiny stuff.

Nothing was missed. There is a word misplacement and meaning error, but technically not a spelling error, and that's not within our jurisdiction.

I thought Xbox and Playstation had access to discord now on console. That seems like a prime opportunity to make your own ESO communities and have a set of robust social options too since ZoS hasn't supported guilds with guild tools beyond their initial creation.

This really should be fixed on XBox. PS voice chat works most of the time, though it can bug out on occasion.

Using Google's or OpenDNS DNS server addresses instead of default Comcast DNS address fixed all the minor voice chat bugs I had on PlayStation.

..... GUILDS ARE OUR COMMUNITIES..... we have had in game chat since day one, they refuse to fix it, its not right or fair

ZOS needs to fix this and advertise it in game and out, i know console isnt PC and we are KINDA 2nd class citizens when it comes to the game, but the game/community is suffering/declining on its unity and communication..... text chat is just an evil and ignorant thing sometimes.... What do we need to do to make this issue noticed???

link 20% MAYBE more know about the Forum... its not mentioned, or advertised as an option outside the official website in the ticket area, or when a player starts ESO in the original email so massive amount of players dont even know this exists so they cant speak up
