Changed to a Unique Buff giving Yourself and 11 Group members X amount of Weapon and Spell Damage after the creation of Arcanist killing one of the better Tank Support Sets.

Powerful Assault makes for a great alternative, and if you’re already running that, there are several other really good tank sets to pull from.

Sets like;

Turning Tide
Pearlescent Ward
Crimson Oath
Saxheels Torment
Arkasis
Drake’s Rush
etc…

Groups without an Arcanist support or without Oakensoul builds do still exist, in those groups Yolna is still really great and provides it’s utility.

On the topic of updating old trial sets, I would love for the Maw of Lorkhaj ones to be adjusted, and for them to receive the Perfected treatment.

Yeah i run TT as my other. I could switch to PA and slot Caltrops i guess. Just sad to see a staple set from a trial go to waste. I run Alksoh on my DPS all the time. I really enjoy boosting the group a ton in 4-man content it is really fun!!

Absolutely, people underestimate the power of support sets, it’s rare that you overpenetrate enemies in Veteran dungeons.

Right, I would love to start running Moondancer on my Necromancer in PvP, but there’s a useless 3 piece and no Perfected version to replace it.

Arcanist didn’t kill yoln, just made it a flex position. Fights that are super mobile or spread out would benefit more from yoln while stack and burn fights would benefit more from something else as a 5pc, assuming there’s an arcanist in the group.

If they were to do that, I suspect it would done the same way as arena weapons, meaning, farm them all over again.

Moondancer and many of the sets from MoL need similar treatment as many crag trial sets where an added stat is on the 5th piece bonus.

I'm also not a huge fan of every trial set having minor slayer or aegis on it. Surely ZOS can put something new in that third slot.

Not really needed. Not every group will have an arcanist.

not every group will have an arcanist.
even if you have an arcanist it's not guaranteed they'll use Arcanist's Domain.

and Domain is an aoe ability that gets placed around you when you cast it.
if a tank uses it, it wouldn't affect the whole group.

if you were to not use yolna because of Domain ideally you'd have at least two arcanists in your group that use Domain so you can make sure it affects everyone.

I would be okay with that, Maw of Lorkhaj is a lot of fun, and it being the first DLC trial and first to have a skin, I have a lot of nostalgia with it.
