What goes through shields - PvP

Hi everyone,
I will be talking about PvP only here, i recently built a tank arcanist and play heavily around shield for the first time.
It occured to me that my life still goes down when i'm shielded, not as fast i gather but still which means a "clutch" shield when low life will never neglect my death since damages go through.
At first i thought it was oblivion damages, the only source to my knowledge to bypass shields but it's way too frequent.
just to inform i have 60K hp and 37k to 40K resist all so when i talk about "clutch" shield, a simple desync is nowhere enough to kill me before the shield is applied.
So, there is my question : what are ALL the damages that bypass shields ?

✭✭Oblivion damage but also Shield Breaker set and Bastion CP. Both of those do increased damage against shielded players.
Shield Breaker 5pc bonus:
Increases your damage done by 6%. This effect is doubled when attacking targets with a damage shield active.

adrien4545Soul Shriventhank you for your responses but i'm afraid it does not respond to my question, but i gathered more info by fighting other arcanist in BG (so no cp) and i was able myself to deal damage to them through the shield ultimate, and i dont have oblivion damage in my build.
i think it occurs more frequently with this ultimate rather than "normal" shields.
I'm not able to record things sorry for that but the question remains unanswered,
can other arcanist confirm this ?
PS : an idea occured after i posted, if a DOT was cast before a shield is cast, does it ignore it ?Edited by adrien4545 on July 18, 2023 8:07PM0 -

✭✭Are you referring to the ultimate in the soldier of apocrypha line? The tool tip I'm seeing is that it "absorbs 60% of incoming damage"2 -
