First Character load of the day takes an excessive amount of time.

For a while now when I log into the game for the first time that day, and load a character it takes several minutes to load in. During that time my PC, that is well above minimum specs, is chugging hard and other programs running are disrupted.

Looking for anything I can do to alleviate this.

I think it's a problem with the new update. I and others can log in but it takes minutes to load character select. I did not have any issues with this until the recent game update. PC/NA
