Battling bots and gold seller is an endless battle, and that must not be an excuse for delaying the transfer. They are working on Craglorn zone and it will be released in the following weeks, shouldn't bots and gold seller be an obstacle for that too?

Open your eyes my friends, don't be a milking cow in Zenimax ranch!
Follow the masses on EU megaserver, and show them that we are not the shallow and empty holes full of money. Ready to just give it to them when every once and while they write some good blog about features without a date when it will come out.
Transfer of EU server should be a priority, not some new zone full of false promises. Unsubscribe, for now, and wait for better time. ESO is a great game, but Zenimax is not a great company for this game. We are the activists, we are the mass that runs the server, until they realize that... Boycott, oppose and unsubscribe!

OP is right.

#1 priority for them should be moving EU server to EU.

Because there is no reaction or proper answer from them, there is not much left to do from our side.

We can only unsubscribe and wait for them to react and move the server. I already unsubscribed, but they gave me 5 bonus days

most don't give a monkeys where the server is can be planet zog , all we want to do is play for some this might be a issue but for most it wont be.
so I ask you can you play the game reasonably well or not, bearing in mind when there is lag we will all get it ,
to say boycott and stop the subs you can but most wont so I would say the stopped the post is you are asking for it ,
statements like this should be put to rest rip

It's not just lag, high latency and hing pings gives us disconnects, freezes and rollbacks. Data base is saving our moves every 15 minutes so that gives us more frustration. Like we don't have enough 'cause of bugs and log in, log out sessions...

I'm in the EU and play on both servers. The server not being in the EU hasn't had any averse effects on my gameplay. So I have no idea what it is you're trying to say. Why do you care where the server is located? Are you getting extreme lag that you feel is caused by its location? Or is it something else?

Seriously now - this is nothing if not yet another "I'm going home" thread combined with some angsty activism scheme underlying.

I'm an EU player, I do PvE, PvP and Crafting all of which at VR, I have a ping of 150-190 ms, connecting from Germany and don't even know what reason there'd be to move the server to EU right now. I absolutely support the idea of first handling the army of bots and whipping it to controllable amounts.

Also the OP apparently has no clue about how a company works, neither in general nor specifically. Let me unveil the grand concept of Development Teams to you. They each handle different aspects. Let me give you an example from a non-MMO perspective: Ubisoft. Do you sincerely think they have 400+ members working on the next Assassin's Creed title, all on the very same aspect at the very same time? Do you realize how much that would cost and how ineffective it was? The same goes for MMO companies - you have Team A tackle Issue A while Team B tackles Issue B. And the same goes for large companies outside of gaming as well. Or do you fancy a desk clerk handling multi-billion dollar accounts at a bank? Or maybe the guy serving in the cafeteria might throw in and teach Law at the University when the professor is ill? Nope. Not how it works.

Also you really try to "threaten" to report anything to anyone? Oh no, how scary. You know how often I heard that line? Plenty. And you know what it changes? Nothing. Because my superiors (and I do work in CS for a larger company than ZeniMax actually) have my back because I am delivering what has been talked through and decreed the corporation's identity and face. Yeah, not a glorious job but I do have to listen to the occasional "Gimme dat supervisor! Nau!" and guess what.. it doesn't change a single penny at the end of the day.

If you want to leave - leave. If you want to return - return. It's your choice of if you understand how development works or not and it's your choice if you come to accept it or not. But it is not your choice how it will work and it is also not your choice if anyone else will accept it or not. You're none other than "just another guy/girl" for anyone but yourself and your private little world around you. Just as I am.

I'm having the odd issue with/in the game as well and I do also make myself heard if time allows but I also do deeply love the game and appreciate the work behind it. Maybe you might want to give appreciation another try and make a respectful thread and adress your issue properly. Well if there was one. But that's a p.o.v. thing, I guess.

I'd say so. 70.000+ employees, 50+ billion revenue, working as a trainer for communication there. So i do know how departments work and that any larger company is split into several (in my case hundreds) of teams and fields, also friends of mine do work in the software development field and while a software company has some differences to your run-of-the-mill company, they still do have differing design teams for different items to work on at the same time. Just imagine 200 ppl working on a game, all of them working on the music, then all of them switch to visual design e.g. It'd not only be a total waste of ressources, but also mean that John Doe, a degree in AI programming who detests art design, suddenly is to help with the design of Boss Mob #221 from a pure graphics perspective. The results would not be too good

Because they work on different fields in different teams usually. Also ZeniMax did confirm that plenty already. It'd be inane not to split up the workload.

The point is, you've misread my post. They said once the bot and gold sellers issues are resolved they will move the EU server to EU. That's why I asked why not postpone Craglorn too. I am not that much ignorant to not know how a company works. Btw, thank you for giving us the insight of your workplace.

Why should they postpone Craglorn?
I live in Europe and I am perfectly fine with the server being located in the US (atleast for the time being, I hope to see the server in European soil after summer).
I wouldn't be fine with them delaying content patch.

OP is right. EU server should have been in EU since the first day the game launched. Postponing it without any kind of ETA (i do not count "soon" as any sort of ETA) will just make even more people to unsubscribe. From a business point of view, this turn Zeni made was not good.
