About Companions distance

After get Sharp-as-Night as companion (the best imho) I notice that his positioning is often extremely close to my character.

Other companions seems to have the same problem, and when we are in a mission that depends on a NPC following us, the distance mess is even worse!

Is there some menu's key that define our companions distance? If not, it would be a good idea create one.

I don't think Companions need to me so close to us. They could be at some decent distance to allow our characters move without being "blended" with them all the time.

The images show some examples:

Honestly, I've never noticed, maybe because my pixel-self doesn't have 'boundary sensitivities'. Considering when I use a wayshrine and arrive only to find myself INSIDE of other characters... I'd say companion closeness is the least of my concerns. ;)

I fully agree. A certain distance would be much nicer, so I don't alway accidently interact with them.

It primarily annoys me when the mounts clip, looks stupid.

I noticed with these most recent companions just how close they were. Major boundary issues. Get out of my personal space 😅

I only notice when they are mounted and keep riding up my arse. Yes, I wish they'd fix it.

Yes, Sharp seems to do this much worse than the other companions, but I haven’t done much with the other guy yet. Azandar (is that how you spell his name?) stands there with his chest sticking way out. Looks weird to me.

It isn't about boundary issues. It's about it looking silly when you're trying to do a quest or simply function in game.

    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
    Legends never die
