What have you been up to in your first two weeks of Necrom, Console Players? (no story spoilers)

It's been a couple of weeks since Necrom launched. How are you enjoying it? Do you like the dailies? The mythics? How about the companions?

I haven't gotten a chance to play it much myself yet, because I've been pretty busy. But I got the wayshrines unlocked and took a look around the new town. It's gorgeous! A guild mate of mine also already managed to get that music box antiquity so I got to check that out. It's very cool! I'm excited for what comes next!

So, how have you enjoyed Necrom? Please no story spoilers!

I just returned to play Necrom and I think it‘s one of the best Chapters. The storyline is great, Hermaeus Mora as your ally is very well done and Apocrypha looks absolutely fantastic. Arcanist is a nice touch as well, the class needs work, but overall it feels and plays better than Necromancer around launch.

Unfortunately Telvanni Peninsula is very… middle of the road. Some quests are really good, but overall it‘s just a rehash of Morrowind. And I hate Necrom city with a passion, everything’s so narrow and there are no open spaces, it’s annoying.

After finishing Necrom I started playing High Isle for the first time and wow, the zone is absolutely breathtaking and might be the most beautiful zone they’ve done yet (next to Summerset and Elsweyr). Everything feels like home. Unfortunately the story as of now is very… uneventful.

Overall I‘d give Necrom 8/10 and would rate it as the second best Chapter overall, but for me Elsweyr is still the peak of all Chapters due to the zone looking spectacular and the Necromancer being more natural to TES than the Arcanist.

Telvanni Peninsula is the wrong name for this zone. A peninsula is surrounded on 3 sides by water and this area is not. The tip of land north of it is.

Regardless, I have been enjoying the chapter. I try to get the group stuff done first while the zone is still new. I like Bastion Nymic but hate the grouping without a grouping tool implementation. Takes time to find a group and get going. Drop rates for the goodies there is very low.

The main story was pretty good, but don’t like the cliffhanger for another whole year. By then I will have forgotten everything. Working on side quests, some seem good and others are odd. I have encountered bugs with the quest icons not pointing me in the correct direction, but I eventually figured it out, just something I have never encountered before.

Apocrypha is a strange but beautiful area. I really love it. I wish the “Telvanni Peninsula” had been as lovingly crafted and populated as Apocrypha, it is too small for the area on the map and contains too few content.

i did all the side quests and currently on the sixth zone story quest, got sharp and azandar, did the world bosses, delves, public dungeons, got every skyshard except one, and uhhh i like it

fun chapter
i love Apocrypha

made two arcanists and one is almost level 40
o and did the trial twice which is very fun
though yesterday had a lot of lag sadly
