Apocraphal gate and morphs

This seems like such a wasted idea and wasted potential, the class was sold with this skill as one of the main selling points..not only does it not do as advertised but the 7 second cool down killed the skill on arrival.
No one will use this skill over the other mobility skills due to the cool down.
Further I don't understand why it has a cool down any way when the best mobility skills that currently exist do not such as streak or shadow image.

Not the cooldown but inability to place the exit portal on a place above you kills that skill completely. I don't ask to be able to port on keep walls no matter how amusing it would be, but just on top of staircase would be enough.

Also, the portals are at the ideal distance but still can't press the DAMN PLATES in Direfrost by myself.

I'd also really like if you were teleported to the exit immediately on cast. Using the ability as an escape tool fails often since when you cast it, skill delay will cause the entrance to appear behind you while moving.

This skill is fun, but janky and struggles to be useful. The back-and-forth thing is cool, but I haven't really seen people use it. Not even PvP line-of-sighters (maybe they are in Cyrodiil).

There are some battlegrounds where a sorc or vampire can teleport across a ledge. When I use the portal in the exact same spot, the portal spawns UNDERneath the ledge, so I have to jump down to get ported up. Which is like very entertaining lol but not as useful.

As long as they want to keep the 2-way portal that you can constantly reuse, I'm not sure how it could be reworked. The elevation limitations and amount of "invalid locations" limit its reliability.

Maybe instead of just going on cooldown, it could change into a new skill for 7 seconds after using (like werewolf leap). That way, it's not just dead space and get some utility or damage.

I tried to use it to port to the other side of a river that i would normally have to swim across, but even with the destination indicator saying its an okay spot to port to it still wouldn't work.

I will say I'm totally disappointed in this ability. It doesn't have to be port me across the map, but the range is too short and there are waay to many "no you can't port there" that shouldn't cause issues and that was a bit annoying.

On top of all that, the ability was the last thing in the skill line to learn. I was thinking "oh man, its so powerful they put it at the end", but nope nothing like they showed in the trailers.

Yeah very unreliable. At least they could have made the runspeed-buff from the morph last long enough to get refreshed by the new portal after cooldown. But even that has a hole inbetween.

The skill is extremely overpowered, it lets you walk through it and back and forth an unlimited amount of time throughout the duration.

Where it’s lacking, is it’s inability to deal with gaps in terrain, like how Mist Form does, but on flat land, on a ranged build, you are literally untouchable,

So over powered no-one uses it..I can't think of one occasion I've seen it used
